Finally I got some motivation to work on a game, after months of not touching the maker. The problem is, I only have a couple of free hours per week right now. Why do you always have such bad timing, motivation?
Anyway, it's going to be a lot of fun to do something different from what I've been doing for the last year, which is mostly horror games. This game is going to be a lot of resource management, and hopefully a lot of "wow, this is cool" moments.
I've always wanted an excuse to churn out some of my weirder creature ideas, and with this game I hope to do just that. It's even the goal of the game to find them! Another bonus is that it allows me to make the game in my favourite setting, space. I've always felt awe for the vast empty void that is space, and the weird worlds that can potentially be found in this void.
So, speaking of resource management, if anyone knows of a simple and good looking crafting script (a la combine x+y+z to make Q) for vx ace, I'd appreciate some linkage.
Also, is the game page too busy-looking wtih the animated background?
