To everyone that playtested the demo, several times in fact. Thank you. I made some changes for the better thanks to you, especially kumada and AislingCait.

So, the download for the demo is up. I'm still open to suggestions and thoughts, ofcourse, but most of all, I hope everyone will enjoy the game.

The Great Namechange

The name of the game got changed! Hopefully people will think that this name is more appropriate for the content of the game, and perhaps be less inclined to think of Mortal Combat.

In other news, something playable might come your way soon. I just need to work out some problems with making the game more forgiving at the start, and adding some of the more interesting stuff in that I haven't touched yet, like interstellar events, meeting intelligent life, and maybe farming if I have the time.

Hello everyone.
Today I bring you some good news. I've made plenty of progress
on a demo of the game, and I hope that sometime in July or early
August, you'll be able to give it a go.
I've had a real good week, getting most of the first planet
you visit done, plus the Intro that you can watch down below.

Now I'm sure some of you are wondering what kind of gameplay there will be.
Fear not, I will reveal more in due time.

A new gam

Finally I got some motivation to work on a game, after months of not touching the maker. The problem is, I only have a couple of free hours per week right now. Why do you always have such bad timing, motivation?

Anyway, it's going to be a lot of fun to do something different from what I've been doing for the last year, which is mostly horror games. This game is going to be a lot of resource management, and hopefully a lot of "wow, this is cool" moments.

I've always wanted an excuse to churn out some of my weirder creature ideas, and with this game I hope to do just that. It's even the goal of the game to find them! Another bonus is that it allows me to make the game in my favourite setting, space. I've always felt awe for the vast empty void that is space, and the weird worlds that can potentially be found in this void.

So, speaking of resource management, if anyone knows of a simple and good looking crafting script (a la combine x+y+z to make Q) for vx ace, I'd appreciate some linkage.
Also, is the game page too busy-looking wtih the animated background?
