Alright, so I'm re-making the Aurali maps. Again. I'll probably be using Mack's tiles for the groundwork and Hanzo's tiles for some cliffs/water and Houses.

I've decided to port this backwards in time to RMVX instead of Ace. Why? VX has so many more scripts that will be very useful for me down the road. Also, if I parallax everything, what use is the multiple tilesets? (Which, in all honesty, is the only reason most of us even got Ace. Amirite?)

Anyway, I hope to get the character bios up sometime tomorrow. I'll be updating this page regularly, as well as the topic here.

More screens can be viewed o'er on the 'Images' page. :)

Well, not exactly the only reason, but it was one of mine before I got into parallax mapping. Although, new and epic scripts are coming out rapidly for Ace, even as I'm typing this lol, but hey it's your choice in using what game engine you want~
Two of us are making separate games - one using VX and one using VX Ace.
Comparing what each maker can and can't do with each other, we continuously find limiting things in VX that were remedied in Ace.

From that experience, I would recommend staying with Ace. But as Sana said - it's your choice :)

Yeah. I know there were lots of things, but VX is my maker of choice. Ace is really cool and if someone had never used VX or Ace, I would recommend Ace to them. I just prefer VX. I dunno why really either.
