How to play: Touch the ghost.
Action button: when in combat range, (wich is two tiles for default weapon), this'll bring up the "chose enemy to attack" menu.
Cancel button: Brings up the spell menu.
Shift: Pause menu.

The meat is coded, now I need to: Code more enemies, ditch the message commands and exchange them for ring menus, make a HUD, design spells & make the overall system cleaner.


About:
I love dungeon crawling. I love Final Fantasy XII. I also love Secret of Mana. And... Well, this battle system came to simply because HERP DERP IT'S SO AWESOME TO OPEN THE MENU IN THE MIDDLE OF A BATTLE
And also because I want so bad to make an ABS wich emphasizes more minmaxing than button mashing. However in therms of minmaxing the available demo is completely lacking.
I've just finished it today, so expect it to be buggy, and it doesn't have not even 2% of the planned features lol
But hurray I finished something.

can't believe i lost the actual decent version of this ;_;

gosh that's sad, I've made a pretty cool demo with a custom menu system, a town and a dungeon mapped in platformer style, inspired by Valkyrie Profile (but extremely static, unlike it xD)
It was so cool and nice, I can't believe I lost it
I'll try to savage my old notebook to see if it's hidden there somewhere, but I highly doubt it.
