I like the second one, but making the transition will probably be a ton of work. Do you think you can do it without killing your own interest in the project?

Well... it will be tons of work cause I will have to remake the monsters and remake around 9 characters and possibly the battle animation... The demo with the side view is almost good to go, I just wanted to add 5 more scenes before I release it and trying to give the game more depth. But that's a good question, I don't think it would take my interest away, the only think derailing me at the moment is my personal life. Kinda depressing feeling at the moment. I hope it can wear off quick. And I would rather do what it takes to make people enjoy my game. If people like yourself want to see the 2nd one, then I'll do it :)
