Play Lists
My current project is finishing the Nightmare System which required writing out the complete skill list. So here it is if you're interested. I like naming things.
I'm having a lot of fun filling out the database. Also, a new windowskin, since the last one was making me want to throw-up.
Every enemy and all of your party members have different elemental weaknesses. When someone is hit with something they're weak to, they'll be stunned for one turn, meaning they can't move, their next turn is delayed and their defense is cut in half.
Emily joins your party later in the game. Her taste swing more towards Heavy and Hair Metal now, but she harbors some dark secrets about her old musical tastes. Also, I put the HUD in there. This is the newest version. We will not speak of the old version
Maria, the host of "Maria's Monster Movie Mayhem," the B-movie show that you can watch every Saturday. Every week is a new movie, and Maria offers new advice or a prize give-away. So it's always a good idea to watch.
If you get drunk enough, you'll find yourself waking up in random spots on the island, sometimes with a new item in your pocket.
The current game over screen. I'd like to have it so that it's randomized each time, so that every time you die you get a different platitude.
On Saturday's you can stay up late watching "Maria's Monster Movie Mania" in your apartment. Doing so might get you a unique item, a strange dream or even some advice from Maria herself!
There's loads of stores of varying interest all over the island, and their inventory is randomized every few days, so getting every possible item takes some careful planning! You can also talk to the shop-keeps to unlock new items and missions.
I still need to draw them, but each character will have a talking portrait for their dialogue (Most likely just one for each main character, I'm not a machine!)
Getting to know each character in your party and a few on the island will unlock new tracks that you can play in dungeons and in battle! Every character has different preferences (This mystery girl is more fond of down-tempo and electronica.)
The world of nightmares is strange and gross. (This map is fairly empty because it's the entrance to the dungeon, as your party grows they fill up this room)
