Snip

Heavy breathing could be heard in the stuffy old room, a body hidden under covers while a figure stands above it as if shielding it. Running a hand through her greasy, unwashed hair, Mom stared blankly at Fils, who probably felt like she was half dead by now. There was no pity in her mind, but watching her friend struggle with breathing and asking her millions of times to get her a glass of water really made her worry just a bit. It was cold outside today, and the day before they both thought it was a good idea to spend the time in their terrible light clothing trying to bond over snow.

Soft words were exchanged between the two, and a slip of the tongue ruined it all. Fils hated that, she quickly snapped back angrily, but it wasn't all that uncommon that she would do that. It just made Mom feel even more uncomfortable, nothing personal.

Pulling on a coat, Mom quickly rushed out of the room, her head in her hands. She was embarrassed with her mistake. How come that slipped out? Why at that singular moment did her head allowed such a thing to happen? 'I must be getting sick as well.' she consoled herself, 'I am sure she will forget.'

And it went on like that. Fils never questioned her the following day, nor the one preceding that. Everything went normally, like it never happened. It was a nice change of heart.

Announcement

Bad News / Setback

A terrible thing has occurred today.
Thanks to a virus my computer has contracted earlier, this game is officially corrupted.
I am very foolish to not have made a back-up, but I guess now I have learned my lesson.
I am a bit grateful that I haven't really finished half of the game, and it's only a few 10 maps or so that I finished completely, but I am still very saddened.
I do have notes on the scenes, and I still have my maps and other misc. items, I just need to redo the events again, redo the stats, and remember some dialogue and choices.
(At least this time around the events will be easier to make as I was very confused at first)

I am very sorry for this inconvenience, but I plan to catch up in about 2 weeks or so, depending on school and family things.

!UPDATE!
Whoo! I at least got all my events and maps back! I am so so so very happy for this miracle! I lost things like stats and monsters, but I GOT MY MAPS AND EVENTS SO I'M SO HAPPY!

Progress Report

Post-New Year Update!

Hello everyone! As you may or not have noticed, I am back from my vacation and back into school again. Exams are nearing soon, so January is mostly a month of rest and studying for school. By the end of Febuary, I plan to be about halfway done the game, but anything could happen through those months, so thank you guys for being patient!

Things you can or cannot do while I am busy at school and working:
-Cry a lot until I finish
-Go check out my blog for unrelated Abundance of Fils art and sillies! (Lots of sillies coming up because laughing at these two girls is very fun)
-Imagine how the game will look like in it's finished state

Progress Report

Winter Update!

Hello hello there! I am making this blog to inform you guys about my progress (and setbacks) on the game.

Currently, I am doing some polishing on the story and the game plan, plus a few inspirational sketches to breathe and live in this game.
I recently got the stomach flu, and while that is gone, I am still stuck with the icky feeling and massive loads of work.
On a happier note, I am going on a short birthday vacation on the 19 of December for 3 nights at a pretty cabin up north (: A good spot for inspiration and northern lights!

I hope I get better soon (as my stomach never agrees with what I am eating these days), and I hope I can get back into my groove!
