Re-Vamp Progress 01

I have successfully completed the WHOLE story for Savior of the DreamScape. I consider this a major milestone because the first iteration of this game, I was just making things up as I went along and that resulted in hella plot holes. The new story has very small ones that I can fix pretty easily if I wanna make the game truly awesome. Still debating that because that means making more sprites. Lol
Speaking of sprites, I have completed all the sprites for the main four characters. Now, I have to make about 10+ more sprites for the secondary characters.
*dies*

I'm thinking of holding off on started the new maps until I get all of the sprites and bust shots done.

Re-Vamping!

Hello! Long time no see!
RPG Maker has been sitting on my CPU desktop collecting virtual dust for about a year now. Uugh. Life.
Anyways, I've decided to start work on this game again. I have a few ideas on how to fix the story and my art skills are much better now so the game as a whole is going to look a lot better. I'm currently taking CPU Science in school and we don't have any current assignments so, I'm going to work on my game as a substitute!

Removing the Demo Download

Now that I have been able to actually get some writing done for the rest of the game, there are some major story elements that need fixing. The demo overall just needs fixing!. So, I am going to remove the demo download for now. I don't know for how long, just until I feel like its ready to be re-released. I'm also thinking about making the download available through dropbox or mediafire instead of Google Drive. I'll have to do some digging. XD

No More Writer's Block!

My supposedly "short" hiatus has turned into a long 4 month hiatus that isn't due to end until the end of school which is June 19th. But, my work load may lighten up a bit before then. We shall see!
Recently I have been able to start writing the events again. For a month or two I had a very bad writer's block and couldn't figure out how I wanted the story line to play out. I am glad to say that I am out of that funk! Writing for the fourth location in the game named, the Theladious Mountains, has commenced! There are still some majors gaps in the story line but, I think I'll be able to get those resolved.

Spring Break: Coming Soon!

The Hiatus will end during Spring Break and probably Spring Break only!
*Sheds tears*
School has been really crazy and it consumes most of my time. However, I was able to completely finish writing the events that occur in Oashia Beach and I also made a chart of all the weapons and armor that are available in the game to weed out imbalances.
One of my lovely beta testers also found a pretty big bug in the demo that I was very happy to fix. The fourth area of the game is the Thaledious Mountains, and I have yet to official write down anything for it. Just some small puzzles and dialog floating around my head. I'm having a little of a writers block. :3

Short Hiatus

It's that time of year again! Brace yourselves for Midterms Week is coming! Also Science Fair. Because I'm really behind on that....
*huddles in the corner and cries*

In order to focus on studying and science fair, I must take a short hiatus on game development. And by development, I mean making new maps and events and what not. In my free time, I'll still be able to write some of the dialog and stuff out. So, when I do have some free time to actually work on the game, it will go much faster since everything will be written out.

The demo is currently only available without the RTP. After I fix a few minor bugs I will re-upload the No RTP and RTP versions of the the demo download.

Savior of the DreamScape Demo Version 1.5

The new update is finally here! Even if its a couple hourslate

Version 1.5 Updates:
-Fixed Dialog
-Added Facial Expression
-You can now enter the Ice Cavern Dungeon! (There's even a mini boss!)
-Minimal additions to the map
-Elder Sankun gives you less Zeal

*New Scripts Added*
1. Quest Journal by Modern Algebra
-Press 'Q' to access the Journal
-Improved Quest Organization

2. Tracer Event by CC
-The fairies in the Fairy Garden Side Quest now run from you!
-The Enchanted Flowers are slightly harder

3. Ace Message System by Yanfly
-You can now see the character's names!

I've worked pretty hard for the past 3 days and I'm really proud of the update. However, if there is anything that still needs fixing, let me know!!

There's a MAJOR Demo update coming VERY soon!

I've been working on adding some new scripts into the game and I have to say, the demo is l0x better!
I don't wanna give any spoilers except for the new Quest Journal Script by Modern Algebra.
Behold, quests like you've never seen them before!


I have some homework to do so demo version 1.5 won't be up until later this night
or tomorrow around 10am (That's when I have study hall :3)
