I can see your mapping could use some work.
Don't ever just draw a massive circle and just put blehblehblahaeibleigaio enemies everywhere. It makes your visuals look boring and it doesn't give the player any clear sense of direction, let alone any real strategy besides "run around and hit an enemy".
Vary your terrain, not just in the way of different plants and flowers, but add walls, corridors, etc. to make this into a bit more of a maze. If you want to make a large map, it would serve you well to create distinguishable objects on the playfield, that way you won't risk the player doing spin-moves and having time wasted.
Another thing, that grass autotile doesn't need to stop at the trees. If you hold down "shift", you'll draw a center tile, then you can select the tree autotile and replace them to create the illusion of an overlap... Or something. I'm sure there is a shift-mapping tutorial around here somewhere.
