I'm happy to finally announce that the early development of Stricken has been released! The Alpha Gameplay's purpose is for early feedback and suggestions which can further help with the development of the game. Feedback ranging from grammatical errors to flaws in the mapping would be much appreciated.

Just keep in mind that this is not a demo and this is only for feedback purposes. If you're having problems with the Dropbox link, feel free to try out the File Dropper download link. You can also access the File Dropper non-RTP version by clicking here.

Thanks all.

So, I ended up downloading this as I heard some friends had been having troubles with the file and noticed that some virus protectors will try warning you that the file is risky. Not sure why it does this, but I can assure you that the game has no added files or the such.

It's 283MB. I'd recommend reducing the filesize greatly including a version that doesn't include the entire RTP.

I'll try uploading another version of the Alpha today without the RTP.

EDIT: Added the non-RTP version to the list of downloads and original post just then. Feel free to access it by clicking here.
Dear Anorak,

Can you add in some simple instructions at the beginning of the game?

Also, I think it would be nice if you could indicate where we could save.

Thank you

Your game seems interesting btw, I anticipate how it will turn out.

Heya Puddingsuitsme, thanks for the generous comment about Stricken!

As for the implementation of a controls screen, here's a preview of something I've been working on:
