The Ugly Carrots: The curse of the battlebot

O man. I just spent several hours trying to come up with some anti-lag measures that don't interfere with my custom vehicle system and random weather system, only to realize that it's my laptop's power-saving features that kill performance (it drastically clocks down the processor when on battery) - everything works smoothly as long as the power supply is connected. Well, anyway...it was a fun little programming exercise, and I got a nice performance boost out of it.
