This is a remake of a game I created sometime ago in a past release something.
Now with overhauled gameplay and graphics, balanced battle mechanics and rethought systems, it will be much more fun!

Explore the depths of the randomly generated Dungeon, looking for loot and finishing quests while you minmax your character's stats so be able to struggle through the ever-difficult dungeon!

The previous class system was rethought and is now much simpler. Choose a party of four heroes, using any combination of 7 possible classes. You don't have any equipment restriction and you learn skills through tomes, the only impact a class has is in the form of percentual increases and decreases to the character stats! That means you can equip that Buster Sword in youw Priest. It'll only be half as effective, though.

Of Paladins and... Archers...

ashjdgfasdf i'm tired so i'll just leave these here

I'm not happy with them yet... Especially with the archer... I actually wanted the passive not to be high HIT% / CRT% (which would allow them to deal quite some damage with axes for instance, though axes scale off of STR and bows off of AGI...)
What I really wanted it to do was to increase the weapon's rate of inflicting statuses. Wooden Rain could also double the chance of inflicting whichever statuses the archer's weapon (most times a bow, or sometimes a knife) inflicts. I mean, it already has 25% of chance to inflict any of these 3 statuses, I wanted it to boost the % of inflicting status of the weapon instead. And i wanted skills to revolve more on statuses overall.

Meh, idk also i'm slep goodnight sleep tight

I like the concept of this, and I do enjoy Azure Dreams, but I've never played Diablo. Never had the system it was on.
I'm glad you like it! I love both azure dreams and diablo. You can say they're similar in their setting: AD has you in a town in the middle of the desert, and you trek through the tower while completing quests for the villagers.
Diablo has you in a town in the middle of a cursed europe analogue, and you trek through the catacombs while completing quests for the villagers.

Both have little story to the protagonist, instead focusing on the npc's and the games' backstories (AD has quite more story regarding the protagonist, but for the majority of the game it's all about the NPCs) and both games feature heavy randomizing. So, this follows these aspects! You have your base town and the tower to explore, npcs to expand the backstory on and secrets to uncover, as well as randomly generated levels, puzzles and etc :D

Out of curiosity, which version of AD did you play, PSX or GBC?
PSX! I tried to get into the gbc version but it didn't quite strike with me...
I can understand why. I mean with the GBC version, the talking is practically endless at the beginning. I've yet to try the PSX version. I kinda want to just to see which would be better, but the GBC sounds like the better version in some aspects. But, that's more personal play style and preference.

Have you tried Tao's Adventure on the DS?
Ehhhh.. the pseudo AD sequel? Not really, though I guess I should... Ehhhh
It looks so... Generic xD
And the 4/10 score makes me feel it'll be a disappointment
But I won't know until I try, SaGa games are also rated ridiculously low and they're awesome :D
Exactly! I'm giving it a shot. And, there's nothing completely wrong with generic. Have you tried Nostalgia? Awesome DS game.
Hmmm... I don't have anything against "generic" myself, but... It's another kind of generic, you know? Eh, i don't know, it just feels a bit lifeless... But if an AD fan is enjoying it, I probably will too!
Still, AD is such a lively game... They could've at least hired the same character designer!
And yeah I've been meaning to try nostalgia! Now that seems like a GOOD generic, ahahah
Nostalgia is fantastic. I've not gotten very far in it, but it's really fun. I'm also partially playing SaGa 3. As for Tao's Adventure, sometimes you have to look at the touch screen when in front of a person or else it may look frozen. Sometimes the menu changes are hard to spot.
