Here's a list of differences and changes made between each version.
V1.2 Patch (2026-01-14)
Hello there! I didn't expect to update this game again, let alone nine years after releasing the last version, back in 2017. However, I've discovered that "Five Nights: Aerscam Mansion" wasn't working properly on Windows 11 or with certain graphic cards, experiencing errors when loading assets and crashing the game in specific events.
I've released a new update that hopefully addresses all of those issues: V1.2 (2026-01-14) both in English and Spanish. The story and gameplay remain unchanged from V1.1, with the only differences being the following bug fixes. Old savestates should remain compatible.
CHANGELOG:
- Fixed an error where the 'Control' in a Fear Scene would not fade correctly.
- Fixed an error where the seventh soul would attack as soon as the night started.
- Fixed an error where the title screen would flicker after having the progress saved.
- Fixed some flickering graphics such as hours, nights, fear and texts in the extra and custom night menus.
- To work correctly, this game requires preloading multiple graphics before each night. I've replaced the previous system which did so inefficiently and caused missing textures. The new one should work better (and be faster!)
With this, the game should be more stable, but I'll keep the old versions available for some time just in case.

V1.1 Update (2017-04-19)
Five Nights Aerscam Mansion has been updated!
The new version of the game is finally available. The old version is still available in case something goes wrong.
CHANGELOG:
-This version is NOT compatible with old saves. Playing again will reveal a lot of changes.
-The first three nights are harder (the souls appear earlier and they're more active).
-Every scene after finishing a night (or after...something bad) has changed, now including dates, dialogue from the main character, interacting with the environment and more. You can go to "every" room in the mansion now, and there are new scenes, too!
-A lot of new graphics, ambiance music (variations) and sounds added. There is a new jumpscare too.
-Fear scenes were improved. Now, you have to click on Dorothy's figure to calm her. It will move around the screen if your fear is high. The graphics were changed, too.
-When you see a soul in the artifact or the hallways, the screen will get corrupted a bit. This will make more easy to identify which room has a soul in it.
-Changed the appearance of the main character (Dorothy), including her sprite and face on the HUD.
-Jumpscares now occur instantly (they lagged a bit before happening). Fear scenes are faster, and you can see them in the extra menu after finishing Night 6 / Nightmare.
-The check button on The Artifact its easier to use now, you don't have to click it repeatedly.
-You can see more detailed info of every soul in the custom night menu, by clicking on their pictures.
-When the difficulty increases, you'll see more...interesting things during the nights.
-Be careful. The last soul that becomes active...is way more dangerous now, and will always start its attack during night five and six.
-Fixed a lot of bugs I found after releasing the game and changed some minor things.
-Improved the english translation (I tried!)

V1.0 Release (2016-12-21)
First release of the game! And no longer maintained, but archived anyways.
By 2026, it wouldn't surprise me if it was very unstable.
If you're still curious you can download it and try to play it.
Some scenes and game mechanics will differ compared to V1.1 and V1.2,
but the story and flow of the game is pretty much the same.
