Amos knows what it's like to have friends, but he doesn't know what it's like to having a lasting friendship. Everyone he's ever considered one of his best friends has left at some point and they're no longer communicating with each other. Combine this with the fact Amos hasn't been doing well in general the past few years, he has become very pessimistic and hardly ever looks at the bright side of things. He starts his senior year not expecting much and then a cheerful girl named Cara starts talking to him which irritates him. Not only this, but he has to deal with a slow older brother and a younger sister that's even more upset with life than he is. Can Amos survive his final year in high school?

Fixing Things Will Be Getting A New Look!

I've been making some changes to Fixing Things in my free time. Although, most of it has just been cleaning up the code. There's one route in the game I still need to finish writing. When I started this, my process was different and I didn't plan anything ahead of time. I just did what I always did and winged it. Somehow, that's worked out for me in the past but without having planned out a lot of this stuff in advance, it makes it a little difficult. The code being a mess since it was one of my first projects in Ren'py has also made me not want to bother working with it. But, I've been working on it again so hopefully it'll get done for real. Most of the backgrounds are from the same sources, but some are new and the music is mostly from the same places. Then, there are the sprites, which were made by NoranekoGames. Hope you look forward to the final version of this project.

Why are the art styles different in the characters? Is there a reason? The only ones which seem to match is the boy and purple-eyed tall girl. Having different art styles in visual novels usually look pretty poor, as if you couldn't figure out what you wanted to stick with so mushed different stuff together. You might think it's creative and interesting, but it gets on a lot of people's nerves. Mine included. This is the only reason I'm not following this game.
I'm not an artist nor do I have the money to pay someone to make sprites for me, so I'm using free to use sprites. The reason for the difference in their appearances is because Penny's sprites were not made by the same person that made Arthur's and Cara's.
Oh, I might give it a try soon.
