This game got me interested the moment I read the description, an murderous god that kills people because of judgement? It got me completely hyped in playing this.....while not really a bad game, I believe it didn`t really bring anything that gave you a chance to come back and all...
PROS:
*Interesting story based off japanese folkore
* Good atmosphere
*ok Jumpscares
*Good soundtrack
*Good message in the end, but sadly poorly executed.
.....thats just about it, sorry
CONS:
*: Linear: RPG games often have these open world places for you to explore and all, in this game however there is nothing like that, you move even linear than mario. I could forgive Turtle head because it takes place inside of an locked school, but really though, what stops you in this game? You could say the remaining 4 days things but.....if I get chased by an fox masked demon with a hatchet, I would at least want to buy a gun!
*:Frustrating level layout: Whenever the monster gives chase, it will go in a mad dash at you, and you can only take 3 hits before dieing, this would be fine, if there weren`t so many annoying corners! If you get stuck in these corners 90% of the time, you`re dead, and that`s final. That happened to me 7 TIMES!
*: Game-time: I would like if Follow the Darkness had an day and night feature, along with the open world thing being used to buy stuff, but this game can be beaten in 47 minutes or less, not kidding.
*: Message: If you play the final level of the game, you will notice something in particular....(SPOILERS INCOMING! If you see ^, then the spoilers will end.)
The main heroine, Rina best friend has done something which the fox god is really mad about, and Rina being the friend she is, does the best idea she could think off.....KILL AN INNOCENT CIVILIAN! I could understand where this would lead to....but next time, choose to kill an criminal, please.
*: Unexplained quesitons: After playing this game, I had so many questions.
Why is the hospital abandoned and why are there spirits chasing me?
What did Nagase do to make the Fox God angry?
Why do all reports say the God has an knife but the encounters show it having an hatchet?
Seriously, there`s so many questions I have its just baffling.
(Overall review: 4.8/10)

Alright, I know this isn't a very good game but I do have a few things that I'd still like to comment on:
-The game's brief run time was because I restricted myself to a 2-week development schedule as it was meant to be a short one-off while I took a break from my main projects
-Everything points to Rina's actions as being a huge mistake, which is why it ended the way it did - nobody was left with a happy ending, and there was going to be no justification for it whether or not she took the time to bother to research and then stalk an alleged criminal in her neighborhood
-The knife comment was a small hint that the nature of the pursuer changes - this was made more clear when it is revealed that the murder weapon was an axe (this time around)
Everything else that was mentioned was because I didn't put in the time to make it a better game. That said, I don't actually have any complaints about the score you gave, but I felt like throwing my few cents in.
