The game page description makes it seem more involved than it is.

The description on the front page makes it seem like you'll be playing detective in this game, stomping out the area around your college residence, some tryst of fate having driven you out of doors on the one night when it is most dangerous to do so, where you inevitably encounter dangerous ghosts, unravel some sort of serial-killer mystery, and use your wits to defeat the forces of evil.
False advertising!
This is really just a five-minute campfire ghost story, with a Tomato Surprise twist ending, and no real danger or puzzle-solving. It's quite a nifty twist ending, as it reveals the reason behind the non-responsiveness of a lot of the objects around the room, but come on. All that stuff about ancient souls and the Pumpkin Lord on the front page? Totally irrelevant!
At least the large quantity of custom graphics are a treat to look at.
This game is clearly just a quick, pretty-looking project Neok made to celebrate Hallowe'en. That's fine. It does what it's supposed to do. And perhaps this is only a template to test a system for a larger project. But my high expectations and subsequent let-down make me want to burst into flame.
My rating: 2.5/5
Thing I liked about this game: Custom graphics
Thing I did not like about this game: Game page suggests the game is much longer than it is.
Most realistic feature of dorm room: Crappy bed.
Least realistic feature of dorm room: Were there 2 windows in this room? My dorm room had only 1, and it was barely twelve inches wide.

Haha, oh damn. Sorry Gib, one of the things you should know about me is that my game descriptions are usually inversely proportional to how good they actually are. :P
Hmm.. You've actually inspired an idea for this in me. I'll see if it bears fruit or not for next Halloween.
