Hello! My name is RJ, but people call me Ace.
I'm a Game Development enthusiast. I've always been fascinated by games, and have been making my own paper-maze games since I was little.
My first taste of video game development started with one of my classes in programming, where I made a text-based rock-paper-scissors game with RPG elements. Then came Game Maker, which I had a lot of fun with. But then I found the RPG maker series. I played the RPG maker for PS2, but it felt so limited. Then came VX, XP, VX Ace and MV, and I was astounded with the amount of detail you can put into these applications! I also meddled with Unity3D, and I'm currently taking courses for that.

I do have an ongoing project I could show, but I could do a lot more if I had more people to work with. I might reupload the video since it seems a bit laggy when I recorded it.

[RMMV] Need Team for Horror RPG!

Hey,
I work for an indie gaming blog called Reconnect Revolution and we are getting into the gaming scene ourselves - not just reviewing other people games anymore. I am extremely busy running everything that goes on and I need people who can be a good member of our team, but also not require too much guidance and really be able to figure out a lot by themselves and update us with progress reports. This is a job for people who are extremely creative and know where they are headded. I will give you an idea of what we want and I need you to turn that into a reality.
The game is inspired by a lot - it is a Horror RPG, with inspirations from Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Corpse Party and Alice in Wonderland. If this interests you at all, add me on skype. The game will have stunning visuals and will be exported to PC, Mac, iOS and Android. We have the latest RPG Maker software and are ready to go - I am just getting a team together.
I have RPG Maker MV and we are starting on this next generation platform which is extremely exctiting. You will not be some grunt who follows orders, you will be bale to express yourself in your artform inside the game. The game will be sold on Steam, Desura, iOS App Store, Google Play and hopefully even the Mac App Store - so everyone can play it. That will bring in a lot of revenue - so the project will be royalties. We will launch a kickstarter half way through in order to finance our operation and give all team members a cash reward. This is a long project and would love everyone here on board.
What we need:
Sprite Artist - Creating Characters
Level Designers
Concept Artists
Animators - For the intro, trailer and cutscenes
Programmers and Scripters
And anyone who is skilled and/or proficient in RPG Maker MV is welcome!
Also, a sound artist will be needed in the future :)

And for sound, I do use AnvilStudio to create my own music(though I don't rely on it that much), and play my Roland Lucina AC-09 Synthesizer Keyboard by ear. It does come as MIDI format, but that can easily be converted.

RPG MAKER MV
Hey I'm looking for people who are dedicated to work with us on a project for later commercial release. We're looking for people with the most amount of time possible.
The preferable people:
- Designers who know the minimum for graphics and tile designing
- good even creators or decent ones for that matter
- People who are willing to do this as much as we are
The game we're making is an Open World/Story based game with an already thought out story (however it can be altered if necessary).

i guess i forgot to mention what i would do. The artwork of course as you can see, writing the whole game and putting it all together i guess?
Is this project still ongoing? Are you looking for team members?
I have some suggestions on the battle system to make it more horror-oriented.
The main idea is to take the audience to a point of terror and helplessness.
A very good combat system that makes your character very capable in combat will make this a bit harder to achieve. You have to limit the character's resources appropriately, set up a foreboding atmosphere and some well-placed jump-scares(but don't rely on it).
