And now I know!
- And knowing is half of the fun! :D
(Seriously, what the hell is this? I didn’t even type the letter B… *scratches head*)
I think I will add Symphonic Power Metal to the list of materials in my crafting system for my next game.
Oh, but of course you Bieberfags wouldn't know about the most artistic and intellectual genre of music in all of history. I mean, the geometry of its non-euclidean atonal planes, the complexity of its non-linear composition, the intensity and variety of its procedurally-generated waveshapes -- it speaks to the real heart of the dichonimatrixical subrealities of the human condition. The artists in this field are nothing less than the culmination of everything the post-aural music philosophers ever stood for. Its obviously just too far beyond you simple monkeys' neural capacities.
So go back to your darkwave or Swahili folk music or whatever they play on the radio these days, you fucking lamestreamers, ITS NOT LIKE YOU'RE THE REASON ART IS DEAD OR ANYTHING!
Agh, I'm just so disgusted with all of you right now I can't even look at you. I'm done with you!
I'm done with humanity!
I'M DONE WITH THE WORLD!

You never know with the internet. I once saw someone list "non-euclidean emotions" as an "interest" on their profile page (I think this was tumblr). I would hope you would ban someone who seriously talks like that, but maybe that's why I should never be a mod/admin of anything.
Anyways, yes, with a bit of Googling, this is an actual "genre" of music. More specifically, parts of music, with the genre tag being mostly applied to pre-fabricated loops and effects that you can usually purchase and mix-and-match for your own purposes:
A BED is basically a beat/groove/loop/what-have-you. They're called such because the idea is that you slap your music/sounds on top of it, like a "bed of rice" or something.
An ACCENT is a sound containing a fair amount of high-pitch data used to emphasize certain beats, or maybe just be a noise to play before vamping a loop. Sometimes describes longer loops of high-pitched "noises", such as beeps or wind chimes.
LOGOs are extremely brief bits that aren't quite musical enough to be a jingle, but too long or musical to just be a sound effect. They're called that because they're usually played while a logo is flashing across the screen when transitioning between segments, like a news broadcast or something.
STINGERs seem to be the same as LOGOs. I guess the idea is that they have more punch, or can be longer (think game console start-up sounds), or... something. Most of the examples I found were tagged with both.
