what is the max character tile size for rpg maker xp? i'm making my own character tile set.

i'm using rpg maker xp and i tried combining tilesets. i put the tile set below each other. and i saved it as a png. but when i loaded it into the software it didn't have it's transparency. what did i do wrong?

trouble with event triggers

Hello, i'm using rpg maker xp. i've set up two events to play when the player touches either of them. the thing is i want to turn one or the other off when one is triggered. can you please help me? i've been trying to figure it out all day.

I am new to the community and I'm using rpg maker xp. i've made an event where a kids asks you to find his ring. i have it set for when you find it; with a yes or no option. the thing is i need some way of checking for the item in your inventory.
