Hahaha, I know that feeling. It's exciting and terrifying :P but hey, at least they thought it was interesting enough to record and show off!

You're magical to me.

They can be very hard to watch, but you can learn a ton from them, usually ^_^

Darigaaz, I know this feeling so much. I actually avoid threads involving videos/LPs because I'm just so damn scared of watching them. Though, I have, by some miracle, managed to sit down and watch three.

It's nothing to fear I feel. It's awesome, even if they don't like it you can still lllearn from it like unity said. If someone isn't trying hard or doing anything they should be doing and bitching then ignore them or find a better way to convey those messages to the player.
overall it's a great experience, though I have to admit even now I get nervous? Maybe that's not the right word but the anticipation is high.

You can never go wrong with any feedback or advertisement!

This feeling! I know it!
I'll force myself to watch it eventually. Just let me hyperventilate into a paper bag first.

haha, you can do this buddy!
Make sure you have a bottle of whiskey nearby. ;)
As someone who does LPs of games, it's kinda sad to think that they're met with such trepidation. Usually the idea behind LPing (at least for me) is to have fun by going into a project blind and just experiencing it and maybe pointing out an issue or three if they pop up, but mainly just seeing what's there. It's like a present on Christmas that you rip open to see what's inside.

(Granted, LTs are a bit different since I tend to go into them with a more critical frame of mind, but LPs in general are for entertainment... though I'll admit I've had some LPs turn into LTs before. XD )

Just jump on in, bud! Rip the bandaid off and take out of it what you can to improve, or see what it is they liked. If you're really apprehensive, check out their channel and see if they've LP'ed any games you know of and what they thought of them in order to gauge where their expectancy of an RM/indie game is set.

Like, if they did an LP of, say, Remnants of Isolation and just shredded it you can assume they're probably the kind of person who hates on games just to get a reaction from the kind of people who like drama. If they played something like, idk, Star's Favour and thought it was pretty decent, you probably won't have much to worry about.

...well, I say all that but I get pretty nervous when I see someone crack open one of my own games, too. Especially something like The Here and Now of Yesterday, which was designed around an idea and not as a cohesive game (and then they moan about how hard it is to find where to go and I wince in pain because I know, I knooooow, I'm sorry ;.; ) XD
Ok I managed to watch most of it. What I learned:

I really need to nerf net.

Edit

Ok, all of it now. Yup, nerf net.
