I guess he means more discreet. As for the post, it doesn't seem that offensive to me, i.e. he's apparently been here for ages, it's just his point of view in the real sense of the term, if you see what I mean, so what, it's not yours! is there really a reason to get so upset about it? I may be missing something though.
