I am against marriage as a means of taxation and deciding insurance. It is a religious institution and should not be involved in government.

Unfortunately, that will not change any time soon. And as long as that does not change, then any person who is seeking to have their love recognized by the government will have to be married.

In society's eyes, many couples are not seen as serious or committed unless they take that final jump into marriage. Gay people have as much of a right as any person to want their love to be recognized.

Seriously why did he complain about Christian beliefs? Judaism has its own marriage ritual.* (*=I know that there are two meanings for Jew; I am assuming things here)

I don't even know who you're talking about here, but I'm assuming it's because Christian dogma makes it difficult for gay people to be seen as people.

I am seriously pissy about what you just said, too: "because gay people have a free pass to be exceptionally aggressive and confrontational nowadays." It is absolutely what they think now. If I had my way, gay pride events would be shut down forever and ever. They do nothing except spread a ridiculous image... I'm pretty sure that I don't waltz around in a thong and fluffy wings.


How about you try to replace gay people in that statement with "black people" or "women". Can you see just how ridiculous that sounds? Not only that, but not every single gay person on the face of the earth runs around in ridiculous outfits. And even if they did, why does it bother you so much? It's not like they're going to send the ~*gay fairy*~ to you in the middle of the night to convert you to their ways.

Basically I hate homosexuals.
