Yeah, that's one of the biggest reasons I didn't want to join. I like getting things done. If I have to chat, I always prefer a smaller group of people I can actually talk to, rather than just a chaotic stream of welp that you have to sift through.

I only pop into slack when I'm on a break or otherwise unoccupied.
Sometimes I can manage it while doing tedious drawing work, since I take frequent breaks from that.
