Do you mean RGSS? And coding is a trap, if you want to beautify a game go with art related skills if you can.

Good choice! Code logic will probs help you out in a lot of ways. And code skills can totally beautify a game once you start doing fun stuff like scripting particle effects and animations :D

Of course art is pretty important to all that too.
