COOLKID575'S PROFILE

Hey guys! I'm trying to make a tutorial battle for my game. What I'd like to do is have text explaining what everything does while I have an arrow picture pointing to whatever I'm talking about. However whenever I use the show text command in the troop event the HUD disappears; does anyone know of a way to have text show in a battle without the normal HUD disappearing? I've seen some plugins for MV that fix this but none for MZ. I'd really appreciate some help solving this!

Hello! I've been trying to make my first game in RPG Maker 2000 but I've encountered a major issue, you need a lot of assets to make an RPG and I'm not very good at art. Since I don't want to invest the thousands of hours it would take to get good at pixel art and since I have like no money to buy any (I'm 15 lol) I figured I'd look online. However most resources that I can find are formatted for XP/VX/MV/MZ and I can hardly find any at all for 2k/2k3. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find some free assets formatted properly or how to change ones made for other engines to work in 2000 (I tried stretching in Paint to the dimensions it said to use but it still didn't work). Thanks!
