Did you try to enter the Wilderness Trail on the Gar'Mal side? If you re-enter
the woods (Gar'Mal side) and then exit out (Gar'Mal side) it should work.

wait... I got it this time.... apparently there is an event the moment you step out of the forest. which i never did because of the call stone of tarsus, and when i skipped the forest. i went back in through the other way around,presumably overriding the event because the game thinks i already went outside,triggered the event,and came back in. Meaning that the event(the one when you step outside the forest) is the trigger for the other event for phoenichia and the inn. Making it impossible for me to proceed and have to start all over again from scratch. You should probably warn the others Utopia

by the way i cant get off the Gar'Mal village because the guy said we need to go rest at the inn for the night but i slept a ton of times in the inn and still nuthin'. I can only assume it's connected to that buggy event upstairs

utopia i said its an event because there is a message on screen saying "phoenicia....is that....you?" or sumthing like that on top of Gar'Mal's inn followed by the hero's question mark.
