I think I'm stuck. I defeated the Captain, but the game (and the green haired guy from the Guild) tells me there's something else I should do in the caves.
I've got no idea about what to do now. :(

If this helps for statistical purposes, I have Windows 7 on a pretty good laptop (i3, 4GB RAM) and the game crashed just once or twice (near the beginning).
Everytime I died I hit F12, maybe that helped too.

I finally got to the... well, it's a boss fight where you have two enemies, and one of them is male and the other one is female. And they completely destroyed me.
Can I do the optional dungeon now or do I have to wait more?
EDIT: I defeated them. I mistaked one of your previous posts and thought they were the final boss. °°

I finally completed the short game (on Day 5).
I'd have a pair of suggestion that I believe could greatly improve the gameplay, but would change some of the core mechanics of the game (combat and levelling up).
Would you be interested in them? (I'm asking you because they could be a bit long to explain)

Well, in this case it could even be the opposite: maybe Max uses his system in the "proper" way, while other players will find a lot of exploits.

I'd already spent the entire prologue exploring town, and I wasn't much feeling like going back and doing it again!
That's also true.
I just completely ignored the villagers, went into the dungeon, then went back to the village after a few fights to buy some healing items, then a guy gave me a present and I thought "Hey, maybe other people will give me things!" and went around colleting items.
But I was very near to missing all those items entirely.

I think the difficulty is just right. After all, Snowe was almost at level 5 on his own, so I didn't have to grind more than a couple of minutes; with Snowe able to survive the blizzards, the boss was hard but fair.
The only issue I see, as I said before, is making sure nothing that can be "lost forever" is vital.

Progress update: I've gotten Snowe to level 5, so he could (barely) survive a blizzard. While I was doing that, I accidentally found the Cozy Mantle for Hiante.
Then I went against the boss again, and I survived the blizzard! But then he decided to make a follow-up attack and killed me. :(
Next time, I'll make it.
(I have Erio's Spare Suit equipped on Snowe. °°)

With Snowe at level 5 and the Cozy Mantle for Hiante, the difficulty felt just about right.
Progress update 3: And now the demo is over. :(
