Summoner of Sounds

Ok. Thanks for the clarification.

Summoner of Sounds

Thanks for the info. So I understand that RMN Music Pack 2 will eventually run as a separate event. Would it still be possible to submit a sample for Summoner of Sounds AND still have it qualify for an entry into RMN Music Pack 2 at a later date, however?

In other words, should I hold out to submit an entry to RMN instead of sharing it here? I would hate to share a sample here only to have it be disqualified from the Music Pack. If I'm not mistaken, both of these events are free resources for developers?

Once again, thanks for the clarification.

I stumbled on this thread after registering and would like to contribute. After reading the licensing policy above, I was hoping to simply get confirmation on my understanding of the details.

It seems that any material selected for the music pack cannot be used by another developer in a commercial game without permission from the original composer. Is this a correct interpretation of the policy?

Also, does the original composer still retain the right to sell his original composition? Thanks for the info.
