Just an FYI, your website is formatted to be a specific width which isn't compatable with all screen sizes. On my laptop a chunk of your website is off screen on thr left side and can't be scrolled too.
I'm not sure if you're still around or not, but thanks for the heads up! I actually had someone say something to me on Youtube awhile back, so I've been working on that. Most of the main pages are done with a few more to go. Many thanks! And sorry for the super delayed reply!
It's been quite some time since I've updated this, but here we go. I have several new tracks published since my last post. Here are a few examples of some of the newer ones.
An epic dark track "Pay the Reaper."
Upbeat hybrid orchestral piece "Break These Chains."
A hybrid Chinese uplifting beat "And the Sun Rises."

Hello Again,
I'm back with some new free tracks! The first is a dark epic track with booming percussion, powerful, short strings and an intense brass finish. It's called "The Black Blade."
The second piece is a softer, harp melody called "Lake of Destiny." It has a deep reflective feeling.
The third is a cowboy/western theme with a loner kind of mood. I've got a couple distorted guitars in there to give this a kind of modern or hybrid feeling. Here is "Gunslinger from the Brink."
And lastly we have a horror theme that combines a lot of ambient elements with melodic phrases. "They Live in the Mist."

Hello, Everyone!
My name is Darren and I am offering you an ever-growing collection of free music to use in your projects, whether they are merely hobbyist or full-blown commercial endeavors. I started making free music about 3 - 4 years ago as a way to give back and I've been adding at least a couple new pieces each month to the pile. Every single one of my tracks can be downloaded on My Website Here: DarrenCurtisMusic.com
When you download a track from my site you'll receive a .Zip folder that contains the .MP3, looped .OGG and uncompressed .WAV files. You'll also get a signed Materials Release in case you feel you might need it to prove you have my permission. If you end up needing something more in depth or you require something I haven't provided, feel free to send the info to me at desperatemeasurez@yahoo.com and I'll get it back to you as soon as possible.
All I ask is to be credited for the music. If mine is the only music present in the video you can simply put "Music By Darren Curtis." Or if one of my tracks appears with other artists' music, just write "(Name of the Piece) by Darren Curtis." If for some reason you're working on a production that can not give credit, like an ad or trailer, feel free to write and let me know. I try to be flexible when it comes to most needs and I'm sure we can work something out.
All of my work is 100% original. I write, mix and master every track I do with tools from several different developers I've collected over the years. Some of the earlier pieces will be noticeably of lower quality as I've gained more experience over time.

And second we have a dark, film noir type track named "Nowhere to Hide." This is all about an impending sense of danger and urgency. Someone is on us and we need to get out of here as fast as we can!

I'm currently working on "You Are Not The Hero" by Donn Manilili of ToMorning Productions and "Remnants Of Twilight: Age Of Arius" by Jason Williams of TwilightTeddiez Studios.
I will say one thing about how I work. Being self taught, I tend to work better from "creation" details rather than in musical terms. For example, if you want a town theme, tell me about it's architecture, climate, plants, people, etc. Or need a sad theme? Don't just say 'I want sad music.' Tell me why the scene is sad. What you describe, any images you provide or back story you give will directly affect the music I create. Or if you prefer to send example tracks in the vein you are looking for, that will also help establish a mood.
Prices are negotiable and depend on the track(s), quality and time restrictions. Payment must be sent through Paypal and will only be made once you are satisfied with my delivery. For inquiries, PM me on this site or email me here: desperatemeasurez@yahoo.com
