Do you mean the program that is making your sprites doesn't have an "opaque" background? Or RPG maker 2000 doesn't. I know you mentioned this, but I'm not sure of the exact problem. Something you could do is potentially change to a different program, presuming it is a program difficulty. You will be able (I believe) to just take the hair and such and paste it into the new program. It may be a simple solution, potentially.

I have arrived
The rumour is true. Im here. I'm a very inexperienced rpg maker. I have made a throw together a long time ago, but want to start actively learning rpg making. My progress so far is making simple human sprite templates, and story creation. I hope to learn the technical aspects through trial and error, and hopefully help from a community. Well, I'm off to scrounge around the forum.
