I am new to the community.

I LOVE rpgs.. LOVE LOVE LOVE them. But I hate what they have turned into now. We went from FFVI to Fable 3. It's sad to see the direction new RPGs are going. So I did some research and found RPG Maker and this site.

Questions!


In your experience, Which RPG Maker would you recommend?

Is RPG Maker similar to PlayerWorlds or Mirage in terms of actual designing?

For a noob like myself, how long would it take on average to learn and design a game?
