I'm not so sure of that, Noel_Kreiss - do an eyeball check against the walls. The purple dragon statues are on the same floor as the hero apparently started, and the walls behind them are taller, to the point where the crenelations on the top begin, than the wall at the top of the stairs. I think the stairs actually are going up by a bit. Admittedly, if that's the case the individual steps are about as thick as your average paperback novel, but it does look a bit as though it's rising. The real problem is just that the lava(?) is preventing that from being easily visible.

Apologies for nitpicking, but the word is 'business', not 'buisness'. Applies in both instances.

Might want to finish the portion of the ship at the bottom of the image; as it is now, it kind of looks like the ship is starting to sink.

I beg your pardon, but shouldn't that be 'serpent' instead of 'serpeant'?
