The game. Damn it.

Dreams

I once dreamed about walking down a long side alley carrying an open pizza box. Suddenly, tons of Chinese people show up left and right of me, stealing my pizza; I try to block them off, but in the end, there's only one slice left. Then, after going all D: D: D:, I see a tramway driver dragging out a passenger because he was complaining about his driving skills and murdering him in a dark street underpass. The tram driver notices me and I go further D:, so I pick up a flamethrower and try grilling him, but I pull the wrong trigger so only a flashlight goes on.

Then, I woke up.

Your oponion about "RTP Games"

RTP is a graphics style, so liking it or not IMO depends a lot on personal preference. I, for example, absolutely despise the XP RTP and kinda dislike the VX RTP (along with the VX itself, but again, that's preference), but to me the 2k RTP is gorgeous when used right. Other people love the XP RTP but hate the 2k RTP.

If I enjoy a game or not does not necessarily depend on the graphics. There are games with awesome graphics but a sucky story and less-than-great gameplay, and there are games with carcinogenic graphics but an story made of epic and win. While I do indeed prefer custom-made (or at least edited) graphics (seriously, any nubtard with Paint can do basic edits), I don't mind playing a game with graphics I don't like - it just needs to have something else to keep me playing.

Also, Pirate1 at 150% speed = awesome.

Video thread!

Freeman's Mind. It's made of epic and win. Watch all the episodes and PREPARE FOR LULZ.

How long have you been working on your game?

I've been working on Singularity (my main project) for around, uh, around 4 years now, I think. Most of that time was spent on planning and multiple tries and failures to make a game I'm satisfied with though (I'm a horrible pedant when it comes to Science Fiction and video games I'm working on in general - everything needs to be perfect >_>).

My yet-unnamed horror/detective game (the one from which I posted some SSs in the screenshot thread) is relatively new. I've picked up some concepts from earlier projects, but for most of it the project's barely a week old. It'll be shorter and less of a simulation than Singularity though, so a lot of planning won't be required and I think it'll take me around a year or maybe two to complete it (if I keep my current pace, that is).

I can't make out what that red machine like thing is in the second screen though.

It's a laundry box xD

Two screenshots and an excerpt from one of the facesets of my current side project. It'll be a horror-detective story-adventure; you'll be playing FBI Special Agent Isaac Spencer investigating the whereabouts of a serial killer in the northern United States.

Oh, and...hello there.
