GRIFFINTHED'S PROFILE

So I recently installed the trial for RPG Maker VX Ace Lite (that's a mouthful) and I'm loving it, just I wanted to make some enemies have a twinkle effect before the fight actually starts. I've tried having it play an animation in the troop menu but I can't figure out how to get an animation to play before combat actually starts.
