Going to see Fury Road today for the second time! One of the best cinema type movies I have seen in my life.

Still haven't gotten around to seeing it. I really want to though.
I went to see it with no expectations, or no knowledge of it whatsoever. I don't really remember anything from the old Mad Max movies either, though. I was slightly cautious as I think majority of action moves tend to flop pretty hard.
In Fury Road I thought the pacing was really well done, the scenes were really effective and imaginative and all gunshots, punches, jumps and whatever they had there, just felt so tight, or uh, "coarse."
I wonder how to put it. Well, they were all used in very effective manner and didn't feel like cheap filler action for some mass hollywood movie.
Plus the music was awesome too.

Fun fact: The Doof Warrior was born blind, so he lived all of his life tinkering with his guitars. When Immortan Joe found him, he would have killed him (a kindness because the crippled cannot survive in the waste), but kept him and took care of him because of his gift as a musician.
