How does this sound for a Battle Theme?

Well I made a little something for a thing I want to do, since my area of expertise is in music. It is a battle theme for one of my RPGmaker projects:

Battle Theme - Gachette

So I just found this...

Script for this Battle System?

Other: Action Times + 400% might do this.

For the ATB you could use Fomar's in conjunction with Yanfly's battle system.

Could you be more specific??? Thanks! :)

Script for this Battle System?

Listen, I don't know that much about programming and I don't know to what extent I should ask people for help on these forums, but I tried to learn Ruby and it was just too overwhelming and my creativity should be used in other fields than programming, There's this battle system I created that I want to put it into action to test.

Now I'll try to explain this as best I can. You have a three-member party consisting of A, B, and C, whom each have ATB gauges that will gradually fill up like in Final Fantasies 4-9. Let's say C's ATB gauge is filled up, now it is his turn, but it is only his turn for a limited amount of time. While it is his turn, the Command Menu and C's Command Slots will appear. The "Command Menu" is where "Attack Magic Items etc." can be selected and the Command Slots are the amount of commands that C will be able to execute in his turn. So let's say C has 4 slots and "Attack" takes up one slot, he enters "Attack Attack Attack Attack" and he can either wait until the time limit on his turn is up or he can finalize the commands. He will then execute those commands, which will be executed no matter what, even if you're choosing commands for the next character. So I guess it like waiting for a characters' turn like in Final Fantasies 4 - 9 and then entering a chain of commands to be executed like in Final Fantasy 13.

So yeah. Does this even sound good as a battle system? Of course going through 500 menus to pick the commands you want will be annoying (which I have plans to improve) but for the purpose of testing, I'd like to keep it simple.

Nostalgia

We all have those things we all have enjoyed from childhood and still enjoy them. I recently just had an emotional moment which is pretty much why I'm posting this.

If you grew up mainly in the mid-1900s/2000s era, Disney movies/Pixar movies were probably a part of your childhood. I didn't enjoy them as much as others, like my mother absolutely despises the Lion King because my sister made her watch it again and again, but I still liked them. I remember seeing Finding Nemo when I was very little, but I didn't really understand much of it, so I decided to watch it an hour ago, after all of these years, and I had an emotional reaction. I don't really care if these movies are "childish" and "annoyingly musical", it's just enlightening to see them again.

So what are your stories??? Of course, they probably aren't Disney movies.

Any good RGSS Tutorials???

Free publicity always makes me feel warm and fuzzy. ^_^

Well hi Trihan! I'm gonna look at your tutorial inmediately.

Any good RGSS Tutorials???

I've recently bought Rpg Maker VX ace and it seems really simple and amazing. However, I would like to create my own battle systems, and I don't know how to do this. I remember seeing a video of a FFXIII battle system example and I would like to make my own. I do know that it has to do with programming, and I don't mind putting the time and effort into learning how to program the scripts.

This battle system I want to make has the characters having their turn for set amount of time in which they can execute multiple commands. The less commands you put in, the less time it'll take for their next turn. When it becomes another characters turn, the previous character will still execute their commands as you're entering the current characters commands. I'm assuming this will be pretty hard to do, considering it involves a lot of timing. So are there any tutorials that could help me get closer to this goal, or does this battle system already exist which I could use?

I've returned...

Welcome back :)
No worries, it's about what you do, not what you did.
And folks here are a little bit rough around the edges, but none of them are malicious. (else they shall be burned alive!)

Hi, thanks for understanding. No matter where you go, you're going to fond that one person who can't help but be mean. Well I'm glad to be back

I only remember you from all those annoying gifs.

Looks like someone's completely missing the point. xD

Never heard of you, but if you are through with that 48 hours of house arrest, then start RMing again. : )

School officials cleared the building and brought in a bomb-sniffing dog

Hi there, this post made me smile. :]

I've returned...

Some of the more "popular" users on here may remember me, for I posted a story that many thought I stretched. Here is the truth: http://triblive.com/news/adminpage/7824042-74/threat-feb-bomb#axzz3ZK1p8nEY. (there are more articles, and I really didn't stray that far away from the truth). Seriously though, it's human nature to exaggerate stories. I left since I didn't want people to think of me as "the guy who will lie and will idiotically try to defend it." Also, I'm pretty busy with school, I mean, I'm taking three AP classes and AP exams are coming up. Though I did lie, I did do some nasty things.

I greatly apologize.

So there you go. :) However, a select few of you owe me an apology in return, for some of you have been malicious towards me in that topic thread with the story. I HOPE I can come back to open arms :), and if not, then these forums have some mean people. :(
