If we're going for consistency, we should all stick to Mega Man 2 & 3 graphics. For consistency.

I'll also probably change the graphic of the hammer brother (the same graphic from my final destination stage, which I still need to finish revising).
If anyone has an objection then I urge you to stop me. Otherwise, I will begin work on my section with those changes in mind.
I wanted to make a SMB1 style castle, with lots of hammer bros. So can I hog the hammer bro sprite and keep it as the default?
I can alternatively try for something different. My backup plan was to have mine set up on the castle battlements rather than the inside. With lots of buzzsaws.
Truth is, I have no idea what I'm going to do till I do it....HEY GUYS, CAN I DO MY SECTION LAST?

That sure sounds like some shit a country club would pull. The good news is that you've got some damn attractive work experience on your resume that another employer may jump at. So here's hoping you find (better) work.

Anyone who's interested in SMBX might want to check the game out. The demo had been getting some rave reviews and it's been in development forever.

Treasure cheat, or no treasure chest, that is the question.
I always prefer chests over corpses or barrels or boxes. Chests are colorful, chests are more interesting, I always know there will be something good in it, you can recognize it as the standard reward-giver in your game. And, you can mess around with chests so they sometimes subvert your expectations. Chests are fun.

Guernica: The midpoint felt like it was in a perfect spot: The hardest part past it would probably be the pipes with the chucks. My only real gripe with the level is that the pipes that turn their fire on and off are impossible to discern. You just have to memorize the level. At least, that's the way it is in the underground section - which means that with those pipes I mentioned above, most people will likely assume that they just switch on/off at random and not think to follow the coins. They're easy to memorize but it feels unpolished your first time through. A splash of red color for the tips would solve that, and I could color them for you and save you the work. But I understand if you don't want to since it could detract from the atmosphere.
Speaking of which I'm a big fan of the atmosphere here. Particularly the hammer bros: I always thought those sprites looked ridiculous and mentioned it with kentona's 24 Carrot Gold. But here, they're a perfect fit due to how motionless and unlively they are. Goes good with the monotone industrial theme.
Boss is wicked awesome. I had a rough time beating him (there's only two powerups between the midpoint and him). When his jaw drops, the bros can keep spawning if the one already out hops at the right time. Which I think is silly - the 3rd hit can be pretty tough if you try to overthink it and not just bean for the head. So it may be best to have a single bro there. The chucks don't come back after all!
I kinda feel the boss would work better in World 7, but the level itself is a great fit for 6. You did a good job on this.
