Closeraocow's talkhaus was holding another SMBX contest (its over now) and I submitted a level. There's 270 fricking entries and I probably won't see mine till Summer, honestly. (I might not see it at all. I submitted it really really late)
BUT! I really busted my butt on this one, and I know we've got some SMBX aficionados around here so I was curious as to what they'd think of it. I don't think its even close to as good as my level from last year, but for a red coin hunt... not to toot my own horn but I probably nailed it as good as it can be done.
The contest theme is that the level names are randomly generated. Get a load of this:

EDIT: OH YEAH I FORGOT: Its Peach only. I forgot to throw a filter in there though.

Not a fan of the cracks and grafitti, doens't match the resolution. And I found shovel knight right away because when I opened it in the editor I could see that the pipe had a tele event on it heh
I didn't finish yet, but one thing reallllllly bugged me. You give me a boot. Then you give me a door I can only reach by jumping out of the boot. You even give me an NPC to tell me to jump out of the boot. So I do. And I find an empty house with nothing but a stupid NPC who tells me jack shit. And now I have no boot. Not cool.
