I figured why RMVXA and RMXP is crashing for me all the time! At least partly. Seemingly it has to do with MP3 handling...

I've had some random crashing in my XP game. I wonder if I should move all the songs over to OGG instead of MP3. If you import an OGG and delete an MP3 of the same name, will XP play the OGG instead, or do I need to reset all the music if I do that?

RM VXP Ace doesn't look at the file extension, just the file name. As long as that part of the file is the same it'll be fine.

what a horribly disgusting grammar error in my status ):
but yeah! When I swapped my mp3s for OGGs that stopped happening.
I still can't play some of the games in this site, however.
I'll try converting their MP3s to OGG when I have time
