Am I reading this right? $30 per track, $99 for the entire album of 5 tracks? I mean, the previews sound absolutely incredible, but I can practically hear my wallet screaming in terror at that price tag.

That is the going rate(ish) if you were to commission a custom track. But of course that is hugely variable to the skill level of the composer. $30 a track for a dude of this calibre just might be the expected price cut for him to mass market it.
But I have no idea about such things, honestly.
The artwork is very nice, but I am not a fan of the font + font effects.

I'm glad you like both the music and the album cover! About the font -- uh, he was going to use this--

Granted, I'm not really good with that at all so I'm sure it could've been done better rofl
Regarding the pricing, his rate's /min is $100 (seems steep at first but some composers can go as much as $400 /min)
But the thing is, his music pack isn't aimed at the rm market it seems so it's also priced accordingly. He's a very talented composer with a few great tracks to come as well. I'm hoping to either kickstart a game so i can afford hiring him (+ a programmer + a writer + a secondary pixel artist), or waiting until my own things start turning into money x3
