NICE!!!!
It seems like you really have a good understanding of color and the kinds of color relationships that are Pleasing to the Eyes -- even the stuff from 2008/9/10 years often had lovely color combinations
There's an overall sense of dynamism to many years as well! Lots of great flowy subject material and the way you do lines if often nice and swooshy
2014 looks like it was a year of challenging your comfort zones -- the more stylized approaches seem like they come easier to you, so it was nice to see you step outside that! It's always a good idea to try something different every now and then, y'know?
I hope 2015 went well in terms of art! I think you'll only continue to improve

I thank my understanding of color to Ocean's Dream actually, since it was both through his tutorials and art that I got so engaged to color to begin with. The very first drawing of 2009 (as well as the second one) were drawn during my purple-craze era (I still have a fondness of purple to this year but i swear no year's been more purple than 2009 yet) which was directly paralell to his fondness for blue shadows xD
I owe a lot to him and I cheesily mention it every time rofl
Unfortunately these weren't precisely the best samples of each year; lots of things have been lost, or not signed so I'm not sure which exact year they're from, and I'm beginning the process of digitalizing my archive of drawings so they aren't yet categorized 'n stuffs. Hopefully in 2016 I make a more extensive video with better samples! Also later this month I'm submitting a retrospective specifically for 2015, as I feel it was my most daring year so far, and also the one I evolved the monst. (specifically, aug2014 onwards)

call it hokey, but I like when art retrospectives aren't all of someone's best work! I think seeing what someone struggles with and how that changes over time is very enlightening + encouraging to other artists when you see someone not at their best (although this is terrible to do in a Professional "hire me and pay me cash monies because I am the good artist am I not?" sense)

lololol i think purple, magenta and salmon are my crazes
they're definitely the colors i toss in the most
by magenta i mean almost red pink, or almost pink red
oh but it's not like my retrospective showed my struggles, quite a bit of the art there was somewhat half assed XD (i had a lot of real struggles these years, some of which show there, but some of which don't)
one thing i think it's interesting is how shitty i was with watercolors, and then how less shitty i became in 2012!and then how shitty i became again in 2015 because it's been years since i last sat to paint something
