Sonic and the Chaos Dragons

Well if you enjoyed that's good news. To be honest I wasn't overly impressed with it myself, but it's good to know that you liked it.

Sonic and the Chaos Dragons Review

Ha Ha! Even I enjoyed this review. Yeah I know this game isn't good. I was actually more interested in learning how to use the system so I could make something that isn't terrible later. I thought maybe some 13 year old rabid Sonic fans would enjoy this, which is why I stuck it in here.

Sonic and the Chaos Dragons

Thanks for giving it a try. It was pretty much a game I made when I was jobless over the summer and finished during Christmas break. Let me know what you think when you're done.

platforming

OK, I think I've got it, but I'm not guaranteeing anything, so I may be back here but hopefully not. Thanks though for the help.

platforming

Yeah, I think that might be able to work, but I can't quite figure out still how you got the jumping to work. Everything else in there seems fairly simple (at least on the surface). I still can't get any control (left or right) in the air.

platforming

OK maybe I should clarify, I'm not looking for a platforming game per se. I'm just looking to make an RPG game with platforming elements, like the NES Castlevania games type platforming. The picture in the GameOverGames Productions post and the video from the Blitzen post are more what I'm looking for. So no I'm trying to make some epic Super Mario or Metroid platformer.

On a random note what game is that picture from? It looks pretty good.

platforming

OK since its been determined that it is possible to do, the next question is how do you do it? Is there a (relatively) simple way to do it, or is it one of those horribly complex things that's just plain not worth doing?

Final Fantasy 6 Character Set Edits

They should all be right here.

oh wait nevermind I miss understood the question.

platforming

In RM2k3 is it possible to make a decent platforming section or are you stuck with, "the character jumps this many spaces, if you don't like it deal with it."
I'm looking for a way to make it so that you can actually control the character in the air, you know moving him left, right, or even attacking.

Equilibrium

Sounds pretty good.

On another note not at all related to this game. There is a movie with the same name, albeit with a different story. If you haven't seen it you should check it out, it's incredible. Not sure why I felt the need to throw that in though.
