Hello. :)

I want to start making a game in VX, but I can't find any monsters that I really like. The enemies that come with the program are nice but there aren't very many. :p I've been thinking about using the monsters from RpgMaker XP, but... does anybody have any better ideas??

This site has some nice monsters that look like the ones that come with the program, like this one, http://www.rpgmaker.net/resources/402/ but there are only elementals and this harpy. I want a big variety. :p

Hey, as you can see by my username I'm a big fan of Dragon Quest VII. :) I've been lurking around rpgmaker.net for a while now and finally decided to join. :)

As for my hobbies, I like to doodle (I'm not very good at it, though) and I like to read Xanth books... most other fantasy novels seem silly to me, but since Xanth is silly in the first place...! :p

Soon, I hope to make a new game using RpgMaker VX. I've been trying stuff out in the trial and just bought the program in light of this account. I'm not quite sure what I want to do yet, but it'll probably be something like Dragon Quest (believe it or not)! I'm not that big a scripter, sadly, but I did manage to fiddle with Game_Battler a bit (smaller numbers--I hate how one point of STR gives you four damage!!). Hopefully any projects I make won't crash. :x

Overall, I'm pretty excited to join rpgmaker.net!
