KORMANIRE'S PROFILE

Been an avid gamer nearly all my life. Started from NES and worked my way up from there. Ive played just about all of the RPGs that one could say were ever worth playing. Ive always loved RPGs and even still today cant turn down a good story when it passes by me. If anyone would like me to try out their game (if i havent already) feel free to ask me. Ill also help with any testing anyone might need.

You say massive as in content wise with a lot of bosses and puzzles or is it more along the lines of the sheer amount of mapping that you have done?

I think it would be cool to see some optional bosses (side-quest bosses too!) if the place is gonna be that big. So you can reward players who really like exploring and finding all those hidden goodies... and puzzles too; everyone loves puzzles. One thing that the first chapter lacked somewhat was dungeon content, not by itself of course, simply when compared to the town simulation half of the game.

Strange thing to post but even though I havent touched the game in like half a year I still occasionally enjoy listening to some of the themes. They have a very simple yet warm feeling that really helps you wind down and relax when you get tired of normal music. It tends to make me really eager for the other chapters to come out already!

P.S.- Im ready to test whenever you guys get the chapter 2 beta up and running.

By the way the pitfalls are permanent so when you come back on following days they will already be visible. Also its very unlikely to beat colorous on your first time through simply because of all the falling, poison and fighting. Its usually best to give the later bosses test fights because they employ a lot of advanced tactics and abilities.

I might look into adding skills and item info in the near future to the wiki. It would make this game even more impressive if RMN found out this game has a fully functioning wikia.

Red haired girl?!! :O *instantly click People button* ...I have no idea who... *sulk sulk*

I need to go to sleep? Eh, but I already did and nothing happened... Should've found this forum sooner, I'm already 86/240 points. *sulk sulk*

Now, if anyone can post a walkthrough for the 5th floor, I'll be forever grateful. The Groundshaker Bell isn't quite helping :( still fell into the traps no matter what... I'd like to report a glitch by the way (but maybe it's just me?), when you go to a workshop, and craft a shortbow, it'll only show 'Oak Log: 1' and an empty spot beneath it. I don't know if it's just me...

-Orange-red hair. You know like real-life redhead.

-Do you have the maid yet? You need her for the Eagen trigger I think. If you dont then you might want to PM Diedrupo about it and see if it is a bug.

-Ill explain how the bell works. The bell makes a ping sound when you are adjacent to a pitfall in square around you (north/south/east/left, NOT diagonals). When you hear the ping you pretty much have to use trial and error to navigate through there so make sure you dont try it at low AP. When you hear that ping stop and look at your current directions for a moment. You want to head east in the first room then head south eventually winding your path to the far north-east corner of the room. Always assume that you should take the most awkward path possible (the short paths are always pitfalls). Do keep in mind that there are some goodies in the room below the pitfalls if you have the patience to find them but most of them are on ledges so you have to fall in certain places to get them.

So I was playing this game for 14 hours straight and forgot to eat lunch three times. I'm currently on day 42, level 10, fourth floor.

IT WORTH IT.
CCan I ask what's the flute for? I know it raise many stats, HP, MP, Mag, Luk, almost everything, and plus 3 attack each turn, but what else does it for? Will there be any skill for it in the future? What about the bards you met? Um, um, and one more questions! Does everytime your friendship level evolve, will there be a cutscene for it? (because Meracon wouldn't give a cutscene when I leveled his friendship to two :( ) (And Eagen on lvl 3) (Xebec lvl 3 too) I have some glitches I'd like to report, but I'm playing the 10j version, so I think it's all gone now. Thank you for this wonderful game, I especially love the 'no game over' concept, because I just hate seeing that screen, sometimes I think I have a game over phobia. And plus that SSP reference the merchant gave on the Colorus Cave. I gave a fangirl squeal. PEACE.

On Flutes: yes they have abilities but you have to find the person to sell them to you. Both of the available abilities are really nice but are also really expensive. Also Reniat seems to be the only one that can use them =\

On NPC levels: the dev team is finishing up a couple more events but almost everyone has events up to 3 stars as of version 1.0L, however some events are more subtle than others and require certain locations to trigger. Meracon's events are both weapon training for instance so check to see if you have had those. Xebec's 3 star isnt ready yet and Eagen's 3 star you must sleep in your bed before it will trigger.

On SSP: There is another SSP reference if you get a certain red haired girl's bond level to 3 stars "wink wink"

On my first playthrough in version K, I didnt beat the game until I had like 68 enchanting and 2.5 million gold. I ended up beating the game around day 120 and was completely invincible at the time. Good thing for balancing eh?

Enchanting could have been refined further but the dev team wanted to finish events and prepare for chapter 2 after all the balancing that had already taken place. In a way this is kind of balanced because while you can make huge amounts of money doing enchanting, you have to grind through several slow levels and lose a lot of money. You arent really supposed to be making 100,000+ per day in chapter 1 so this acts like a deterrent to anyone looking for quick money. I wouldnt worry about it too much though because when chapter 2 arrives there will be plenty more balancing and bug fixes.

EDIT: Dont worry about all those lvl 2 recipes. Most of them are from blue recipe books and they arent readily available as of 1.0L

Lvl 1 repair is where the money is right now. They sell for 4706g and only cost 1500 to make. Before version K they used to sell for 9700g and before version L you could buy black orbs in the dojo for 10g each and you could make repair lvl 1 for 260g and sell for 4706g. Enchanting is untouchable in terms of making money but you have to sink a ton of money into it first. Diedrupo hasnt modified the prices completely during testing so some things are still a little lopsided. Any green or blue enchant lvl 2 or higher will cost you money. Until you reach level 35 enchanting will almost always cost you money... sometimes a lot of it.

EDIT:
Here is a quick leveling guide for it: (Assume you are using beserker pots)
1-10 make 42 Any lvl 1 enchant for 187g profit (7854 total profit)
10-20 make 42 Lvl 2 Drowned enchant for 263g loss (11046 total loss)
20-35 make 292 Lvl 2 Wall enchant for 263g loss (76796 total loss)
35+ sell Lvl 1 Repair enchant for 3206g profit

LOL, same goes for you, ugh if it tried to do those gifting sooner I could have level 2 enchanting recipe too (that's the only thing I am lacking apparently I also lack tailoring recipe :S), and cooking was the only way to gain some money without need to go out hunting (buy cook sell, buy cook sell,....) :D.
edit: check my chests all of them are full of junk :P

I have all the blue book recipes because Diedrupo gave them to me for testing. You wont really be getting all of them until chapter 2 or unless he releases another patch to provide better access.

The biggest thing I noticed was that you had issues with money. Most people will unless they work a skill that gives a lot of money. Enchanting is where the money is at though even after all the nerfs you can still make about 100,000g a day with lvl 50 enchanting. It used to be about 500,000g a day before that, but still, if you want to buy everything and fully enchant all of your gear then enchanting is the way to go.
