Ok, that explains why. It was a suggested change from a beta tester that to ores were too hard to get so I made it easier... In the end I guess I did the OTHER end of the scale which appeased the testers but made the mining less a main feature but more a side thing. It is possible. I can tell you in my own experience Hilda would have been the worse one for hints looking back as she is already in sane. I am taking notes down on all this btw. After your review I'll formulate something from there and maybe redo this game or just put an improved version of it as a side game if I make another.

Noted I have my beta testers also looking at this so hopefully they get a notice about what went wrong. I am wondering who was your fourth member now. I'm also looking at my note on the mining part to see where it went from game-play focus to gimmick. Can't wait for your review no matter how harsh it gets.

Go right ahead on a review. I noted your advice. I tried to put hints in... some chars had better than others.
Also the core idea I will quote my blog for this "I looked on my desktop and saw Minecraft and said what if I made instead of chests… I made ore be the chest as your a miner in a mine that would be very logical… Then I thought with 1 hour your not going to have long so having one dungeon be the mine fit in. To make it more fun I decided to make the mine randomize what door exits the floor and what rocks appear. Then we had the idea!"
No idea why I said we had the idea... Then again I wrote the posts in a heat wave at noon so my brain must have been scrambled. Again feel free to write a review.

Well, I didn't expect a gem. It works and all, but the writing really has a long way to go. Characters sprites for dialogue would've been really appreciated as well.
On a sidenote, you'll be referred to as "he" in the end, even as a female.
Thank you for your criticism I'm going to go back and practice writing this over one day. Also I did want character sprites but that got the not going to happen during week 2 of the contest due to partially a badly performed beta and partially failure at drawing. Another thing I want to do if I ever get to.
Also in response to your side note... Oops! That one got by everyone. I’ll go back and fix that one as well. I wonder if it happened with all the conditions or just that one. I’ll look into it.
