Or you can do what most first time devs do, start on the sequel before you finish the first dungeon of your first ever game ever!

I dunno. Having the experience of having a complete game under your belt isn't something to sneeze at. Even if the game isn't any good, you likely learned something while making it.

I totally understand. I worked on a game intensely for almost three years, and I still miss it. I miss the process of making it, of thinking about it. I miss the characters, I miss caring about it. It is painful.

I'm finishing another game right now and having the same feeling.

Just try and learn to enjoy the missing.
