Another noobish question...
Hi, I'm trying to make an event on RM2K3where character sprites enter, walking on from offscreen, but I can't find the command for it. I've looked through the help files but I can't see anywhere where it covers this. Can anyone help?

This seems like it should be obvious, but I have literally no idea...
how do you move between maps? I've built the opening map for my game and it works nicely, all the events, characters and messages are fine, but I want to be able to move my character into a building (new map) out of the opening town (new map) etc. it's pretty much essential for making a decent rpg, but I'm damned if I know how to do it! Can anyone help a poor newbie?

Problem with a cutscene.
I've tried to make an opening for my game where the main character simply says something before gameplay starts. I've placed an event just behind the party starting point that auto-starts with a message, but everytime I play test it it just loops endlessly and I can't play the game. How do I make the message only play once?
