Someone tried the ol' "Let's put this image up, no let's delete it and put it up again, and now let's delete it and put it up again, yay I'm on front page. Time to remove and put it up again!" trick.

It didn't work.

Use controversy and drama to get buzz for your game, instead. You're still an ass, but at least you're a LEGIT ass and not a CHEATING one.

Yeah I tend to assume at least half the Buzzing section got there because someone started a slapfight. Often the dev. :V
So wait. Bee gets mad and starts spitting nonsense at the bees and suddenly everything is buzzing. Yet some bees like to try and sneak out and back in with nectar they had made previously to get some extra credit yet the Queen Bee ends up eating them.

Are you sure that they really meant to do that? Maybe they just had to take the image down and repost it a couple of times over because they kept on noticing issues with the image or had to fix or adjust a couple of things with it.

Either way, I didn’t know that you could abuse something like that so easily. You would think that something like that would have been eliminated from generating any additional buzz a long time ago. Are you guys planning on cutting something like that out for the future so this doesn't happen again?

- Is there any other better way than using controversy and drama? Seems like that type of stuff ALWAYS generates and brings in the buzz. :)
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Post the entire script of the Bee Movie one sentence per post, but every time you post the word "bee" you get more buzz
@JerrySeinfeld we just wrote the script for Bee Movie 2.

IMO the better way is to be cool enough that lots of people come in and talk about your cool game, instead of only a handful of people talking about something that's usually tangential to the game.

Like it's short-term effective, yeah, but I feel like generally the slapfights are more likely to repel a chunk of potential players. (And/or said slapfights are often the result of a dev who can't take criticism, so the game won't be that good in the first place.)

Even if your goal is solely to get attention and not to have people play/talk about your game positively, then you're probably better off going into Welp and squabbling there. Then you don't even need to make the effort of doing a game page; all you need is like a paragraph of opinion!

The thing about controversy is that it dies out as quickly as it flares up. It's a fast and easy route to draw attention to yourself, but that attention is fleeting; it typically doesn't last much longer than the incident, yet leaves behind an ugly burn mark on your brand and reputation as a developer.

The better way to draw lasting attention to yourself is the slow but steady route of building your brand through sheer time and effort. You won't see as much activity for your games that the drama queen next door enjoys in as short a time, but the followers of your games will be more invested and dedicated to your cause, and attention you get will snowball into a strong and steady flow of noise about your games. Accept criticism, talk with people who take the time to give you constructive feedback (yes, even the reviews with low scores), and be respectful even in your disagreements.

And, of course, don't game the site's buzz algorithm.
In all seriousness, Red nailed it.

I propose a new event: the Game Buzz. It's like a Jam but RMN exclusive.

If your game is shit, then truly, there's no such thing as bad publicity.

How can one reorder the images of a game page ?

The only way I managed to do it is by deleting then reuploading the images. I don't want to farm buzz when I change the order my images appears in.
Guys, in this particular case they weren't reordering images. They kept putting up the same image about 10 times, over and over again.
