They are a very bright beacon. No one cares about basketball, baseball or NFL football anyway - they are the lesser sports.
I sure as hell do. I don't even bother with Hockey until Playoff time, I'll give you the NBA because as a Knicks fan; there's just no point of watching.

What are you talking about? Detroit Red Wings have been consistently good for 12 years, and made the playoffs like 22 years in a row - a record for any North America pro league.
They are practically a dynasty.
I was talking about the rest of the teams in Detroit. When's the last time the Pistons won, 2004?
The Lions? Have they ever won a Superbowl much less a division championship?
I'm not knocking the Redwings, I'm just saying theyre the last beacon of light for that citys sports teams.

I can't stand Crosby. It's like the guy isn't even having fun out there, I'd rather see the Swede team win this one because let's face it: Detroit's sports teams as of late are about as competitive as a father showing his son a harsh basketball lesson in "Why Daddy's jumpshot ain't nothin' to fuck with".
