Help getting a game to run (Ningyo Heart)
I asked this on Introductions but it looks like this is the proper place to ask for technical help.
Does anyone have a pre-2023 copy of Ningyo Heart? I've just learned of its existence and have wanted to play it in the spirit of February, but the 2023-updated version doesn't seem to work for me; I can download it, but it won't run or even show an error screen; the screen is blank for a few seconds (aside from the Project 1 at the top) and then it just closes. I definitely have the right RTP as I checked it with Corpse Party Zero and it works just fine, so that's not the issue. I think the update might have done something to the game, but I have no way of proving this. I just really want to play this game for myself.

Howdy! I've been "lurking" and downloading games from here for a while, and have finally decided to make an account. As I am hoping to go into game dev myself once I graduate, I figured I should probably make this account. I hope, once I do begin, I will really make some fun games.
