To Steal or Not to Steal?

@kentona
The morality system won't affect the story, but will affect where your allowed to go and aren't. A low morality will let you picklock doors giving you access to places not possible with a high morality, but the same can be said with a high morality. For example the fairy island is only accessible with a high morality. And to answer your question it can give you benefits from shady people like the thief's guild.

@chana
I make the paths equal by offering the equipment, gold and items equal on both paths. It is up to you how to play. I've tried my best to make it so you don't have to pick one path over the other by giving equal opportunities worth of benefits. You may want to play the game twice, once with a high morality and once with a low to gain access to everything the game has. The game is incomplete so far, but if your of a neutral morality, meaning you help people and also steal from them, you can gain access to most of the content, but this may change as I progress in making the game.

Necropolis: Part I

Was I the only one who killed the enemies to fast before you could get enough fury to heal yourself? Maybe I was over leveled? I basically used thrust on the armor guy, then lacerate on the second hardest enemy, then cleave to hit all of them and then my combo would hit all of them. The spiked armor would then finish them off if they didn't die already.

Can someone give me some pointers on how to not die during the Baroness' mission? Good god, I manage to survive like 3 battles and get a little farther than I did before, then I die again.

I would say to tone done the difficulty of the area, but I seem to be the only one whose having trouble getting past it. =(

...but I usually hit in the high 70s, so I get more than 25-ish heals.

What part of the game are you at? If you're around where I am, I think I may be a noob, because I'm only hitting for around 30-35 damage at the most.

EDIT: Doing a little better now that I found the Bloodlet sword and Spike armor. Guess this area just requires perseverance.
I already finished the game, if you scroll up you can see my post. I was 3/3/4 when I was hitting that high.

Play Time: 2:47:44After I found the frenzy finisher, HP wasn't a problem. I think perhaps it is to overpowered since it can heal 200-300 HP every 3 attacks and it doesn't drain my fury, but I did get it before the final boss of part I.
I may have to check this. Frenzy should only be healing for like 25-ish per hit around the time you are able to perform it (50% of your Attack * three hits). And I'm not sure how accurate the game clock is. It is just a parallel process that is always running. If something stops the process, it won't count time.
You might want to check the eventing for frenzy because I get healed twice per hit and it heals 50% of the damage dealt, but I usually hit in the high 70s, so I get more than 25-ish heals.

Is the play time exact because it sure felt longer. This game is very good so far. I like the combat system a lot, but I wish you could use any combos you want like you can finishers. I don't like how the heal spell goes up in cost every level. I had to stock up on tonics near the end because I would kill the enemies before I could get enough fury to cast heal. After I found the frenzy finisher, HP wasn't a problem. I think perhaps it is to overpowered since it can heal 200-300 HP every 3 attacks and it doesn't drain my fury, but I did get it before the final boss of part I. I also didn't like how you couldn't sell all your excess gear. The area you have to go to get the shovel was way to short. I basically had to fight another boss after 4-5 random encounters. I think I found all the treasures, but I could be wrong. If I have time I will write up a review for this game.

Edit: Forgot to mention I beat it in case it wasn't clear that I did.

Necropolis: Part I

I try to find every secret, like those hidden ladders. I must be close to the end though.

Necropolis: Part I

This seems longer than 3 hours. Almost the whole afternoon is gone already, not that I mind. Wonder if I am close to the end of the demo so far.

Also I love the music so far, especially Vick's theme.

Necropolis: Part I

They appear like most of the time for me, but sometimes they stop appearing for a short while.
